    Senator James Jeffords (I-VT) for Outstanding Patron of the Year.
  • May 10, 1996 – Performed with The Capitol Consort for First-Lady Hillary Rodham-Clinton in her honor at the Flemming Leadership Institute’s presentation of the Anniversary Leadership Award’s “Celebrating Twenty Years of Leadership for Progressive Change” dinner, sponsored by the 20 Years Center for Policy Alternatives.
  • February 25, 1996 – Official television premiere of my first original work, “Ascending Towards Heaven” presented By the Mount Vernon Youth Orchestra for “A Call to Arts” Telethon hosted on WETA-26 (PBS).
  • October 12, 1995 – Invited by Senator Jay Rockefeller and his wife Sharon Percy-Rockefeller to perform for a fundraising event for the Democratic State Campaign Committee (DSCC) in the privacy of their own home with special guests President William Jefferson Clinton and his wife Hillary Rodham-Clinton.
  • June 26, 1993 – Invited to perform an all-Mozart program for King Hussein and Queen Noor of Jordan with the Kindler String Quartet at a reception presented by the American University in their honor.
  • September 24, 1988 – Performed for the Chancellor Mikhail Gorbachev of the former Union of Soviet Socialists Republics with the DCYOP, “An American In Paris” by Gershwin in Leningrad/St. Petersburg.
