I strive to cultivate an interactive environment where students express themselves freely, learning to engage in meaningful ways, while maintaining a creative teaching style. As a professor of music, I gained invaluable experience leading undergraduate discussions with music majors and non-majors alike. My service encapsulates advising students with appropriate research topics, assisting them through the editorial process, which has been done beyond my classroom instruction in courses in arranging, composition, musicology and music theory.
